Every time a general insurance company executive open his/her mouth over the past 6 months, the consistent message to be heard is:
"We're increasing premiums.
By a lot."
The latest from the Outlook part of the IAG result presentation today:
This means a strong tailwind for the Revenues of insurance brokers.
But without any of the risks of major claims risks of the sort that gave rise to those strong premium increases in the first place.
So, basically: Free Money
