This is the way i see the situation and more than happy to b corrected.

Again we have the 4 C's,command ,control,communications and computing.Each one is critical to developing all new technology from guided hypersonic missiles,autonmous vehicles,drones etc.

Always there was going to b fixed 4C stations connected to above with satellites including real time satellite connectivity.

Then some of the lynx/red back vehicles like the lynz with b fitted fitted with 4C capability and become mobile 4C control centres again connected with satellite and other connectivity like 5g etc.

So far my guess is CDA/DTC doesn't have much involvement in above because their VHF technology is for close/closer combat conditions.The microsoft goggles combined with the lets call them tablets turns a specific soldier into a 4C control centre ,situation awareness ,drone control etc etc etc and connected to the mobile 4C lynx vehicles.etc.
Thats the way i see these soldier technologies developing.

ps lockheed martin.babcock just received a $2b ADF contract for their HF connectivity.
I'm guessing militaries r including every connectivity VHF,HF spectrums,mobile spectrums,lets include niche 6g applications and laser connectivity because its one thing to say controlling a military drone,missile but if the enemy has more advanced connectivity they could take control of the drone,autnomous vehicle,wingman what ever and use it against us or simply jam the connectivity or shoot it down.
