Just reading this latest presentation what stands out for me is their focus on accelerating the resource growth and the recent update to the board. Note that our chairwoman is now no longer the CEO of Westgold and thus may have a sharpened focus on her new role with GML.
I believe that the board addition and shuffle is designed to prepare themselves for future corporate activity which also goes hand in hand with the resource growth acceleration and the recent share consolidation.
Why has this presentation been produced?...usually either to facilitate a cap raise, present at a conference or potentially to a potential suitor(s) who might be running their eye over the opportunity. Don't think a cap raise is on the agenda so soon after the last one.
I still think at the current very low MC it's worth staying the course to see how this region eventually consolidates its vast gold endowment.
Plenty of larger players with processing facilities surround the Gum Creek/Gidgee area which following HRN's and GML's resource upgrades by year end will have a combined circa 3m Au ozs valued by the market currently at a mere 65-70m AUD.
It's all been discussed before but it does feel like we are getting closer to some action with GML's recent moves.
