The second #technology featured in our series on #innovations driving the #concretepavement industry forward is carbon nanotubes (CNTs). In place of traditional fibers, or even carbon fibers, carbon nanotubes can be added to paving mixtures to increase strength and durability. In addition to the benefits carbon nanotubes bring to the longevity of concrete pavements, the lower permeability makes it easier to place and finish the concrete.
