In that former vein, just to let you know MACI got a feature in MSB's Bell Potter presentation when talking about its own degenerative disc disease treatment (I hate that they call it back pain - too unspecific). I believe the potential for chondrocytes in DDD well under-estimated, despite the known role of endplates degeneration (and tenocytes in the collagenous annulus fibrous):

ACI has taken a back seat to CelGro and ATI - its only a small company with limited resources - but perhaps some future venture with Vericel not off the table. Orthocell actually compared themselves to Vericel quite a few years back:
