Reality is best case scenario for C3 is over $3. If you look at historical copper price, there arent alot of time period where CU trades above this price.
Yes, there is a copper shortages coming but we are not out of the wood with inflation & rate rises yet. Who is to say copper wont go back to $3s?
In that instance, Nifty will be making a loss for every copper plate produced. Just like what happened with previous operators, all went broker and into Care & Maintainance.
The financiers see through this, the debt market arent dumb. Though i feel pity for retail shareholders relying on Bazza words that financing is a done deal. Someone should report him to ASIC for his misleading statement and demand that he compensate shareholder losses.
