Feb. 8th - ASX Daily Shorts exceeded 31,000,000, since the daily volumes somewhat less with a couple of rather low days Feb.13th & 10th (perhaps they took a long weekend?) - ASIC data Feb.3rd to 9th shows in excess of 800,000,000 daily trending up slightly - obviously they have high expectations that SYA is over valued & will profit from any decline in the SP.
Small heavily traded stocks appear to be the target for Shorters, regardless of the underlying prospects. Will SYA be one of the future Lithium stocks that proves the shorters have mis-judged their target?
Are they expecting SYA to moves towards Dec. lows?
I'd expect shorters are generally short-term traders as I've seen on some established high Cap. stocks - with SYA, and a number of other Lithium stocks, I do wonder if they are taking longer term plays - the volumes suggest so.?
