Kevin said the open pit will start on July 1 but given that the pit will be completely dewatered next week and there is only 50mm of sludge to clean up I am tipping they will be chomping at the bit so much they wont be able to contain themselves.
These guys are super organised and will have done bucket loads of planning for this day. Sure they will also have to do a bit of site preparation and so on to obtain safe paths in and out of the pit area for safety of all in their heavy vehicles etc, but this will have been worked out already and now they have the Goldings crew already on the ground.
This is the sort of thing that has made these guys stand out above others - they DONT guild the lilly and they DO get things done
