"In your opinion is this not the least risky pre discovery drill you have ever seen in a new basin?"

Least risky possibly but there are still risks that really haven't been talked about a lot....ie repercussions down the track of a complex reservoir with multiple contacts and compartmentalization. I've seen a number of promising looking discoveries turn into mediocre scenarios because of reservoir compartmentalization. Initial production rates impress but rapidly decline over a short period of time and more production wells are required to fully access the reservoir.
