Well, you'd expect first news from Quicksilver to be the actual assay results from those 8 diamond cores submitted to the lab about 6 weeks ago.
So yes, we must be getting close.
The Stage 3 Metallurgical testwork is running parallel to that from material from the same cores. They drilled larger-diameter PQ (85mm) core to get plenty of it, because in addition to refining the base-case Ni-Co / Fe-Ni-Cr flowsheet, the Company is, as we're all aware, now running REE testwork as well.
I don't know how much detailed reportage of that we are going to get, but given the REE mineralisation appears "...widespread throughout the Quicksilver Nickel-Cobalt deposit and is comparable to other recently announced clay hosted discoveries in Australia...", positive results from the initial benchtop ionic leaching testwork will certainly be of more than passing interest to shareholders.
REEs could be a wonderful unexpected icing on the cake of a project that's already looking pretty exciting.
On a risk-reward basis from a MC of just $5.5M, unassailable value here in my view.
