    He was the skipper giving directions to the coxwain. He ran the ship aground. He made no announcement to the guests to suggest anything was wrong. He exited out the back of the bridge wing and down to the lifeboat deck. He's just waiting to see if the ship takes on any water before he jumps on a lifeboat with other deck officers and the chief engineer.
