what I also found interesting is the significant drop in spherical graphite to about $2200. Didn’t I read somewhere in a failed study for a spherical plant in Kwinana that they required 3 x flake graphite to make 1 x spherical graphite. No wonder that didn’t go ahead with the cost of flake graphite at $2100 per tonne to sell spherical graphite at $2200 per tonne. Wouldn’t be able to pay off the massive loans or operations costs.
Good thing WKT didn’t go down this dead end pathway.
