Whereas in principle I agree with your stated perspective, the main point of difference I'd point out here is that I've held this stock from before it metamorphosed into AVA and have seen the changes that different managements have made and finally wondered when are we going to reach a successful transition to a stable and successful company.
There's better returns to be had than bank interest rates as you suggest like property based income funds returning 7%+ and fortunately I have a diversified portfolio of investments that does include them as well as property.
Here I question the direction mgt. takes the company in and the one thing I certainly am guilty of is a lack of patience to see how the new team and 'add ons' will transform AVA
