I understand your devoid of financial skills, but happily, I am gracious enough to help you out. The company has enough cash out to December 2024 (excluding exploration & cap raise). See the detailed post by @PhillW.
In regards to NAIF and EFA, it's interesting to note that on page 20 of Fridays, 'investor presentation'(attached above), BML referred to them first. The company wrote - 'The Company is engaged with Australian Government financing agencies'. There are only two Australian Government financing agencies - NAIF and EFA.
This is important because what they chose to write next is they are working on a 'fit for purpose project financing solution that minimises shareholder dilution'. When NAIF and EFA lend to a project, typically, they will lend more than a commercial bank. Further, they will allow a company to pay it off over a longer period of time and of course, it's the cheapest debt of all. The upshot of them lending more is that the equity component is minimised and therefore the dilution is minimised.
In addition, to NAIF and EFA we have the Offtakers. Now, as has been made clear previously, we could sell our Ore multiple times over. This leaves BML in a very strong negotiating position. BML has conveyed to the Offtakers that if they want to be a successful Offtake partner they must provide finance to build the mine. And they will.
It's important to remember that Rio Tinto operated the Argyle Diamond mine just outside Kununurra. But it closed last year, with obvious job losses. BML can fill the breach that Rio Tinto left behind. So yes, in addition to our project having 'excellent economics' we will fulfill a mandate of these Government Agencies ie creating extra economic activity and extra employment in Northern Australia.
In summary, my best judgement is that BML is methodically working towards a finance solution that is definitely in shareholder interests.
Lastly, for those who want to truly understand BML - call Simon Noon the company CEO.
