I don't have an answer to this question. I remember that Nearmap was initially free, which hooked people. Then started charging, and then gradually became notably more expensive. From what I was told: the price increase was eventually severe enough for the company I worked for to start limiting data use. Personally, I just try to let Nearmap users know of the alternative and suggest they try the free trial (most people seem impressed at the potential savings). Cheers.
