Silverfox is only bringing balance to your over optimistic posts.

In a nutshell, the situation in Guinea is as follows.

The coup leaders promised that elections were to be held within 18 months of the coup.

They now say that elections will be held by the end of the year.

In the meantime, the internet has been turned off in Guinea, the media has been muzzled, inflation is rampant.

Now the coup leaders have sacked the existing govt, all Ministers bank accounts have been frozen and the borders have been sealed.

In the interim, Ministers will be replaced by high ranking public servants.

This has been done (notionally) as part of the drive against corruption but no one knows how they will affect the process of govt in the short term.

But clearly it creates uncertainty and that is reflected in the SP.
