Having re-read past and current announcements they've been reasonably transparent with the financials.
Where they were a bit sneaky while rattling the tin was in the timing of drilling the gas cap. ie they probably knew it was going to be 6 months away but with-held that detail until the day of voting for the CR second tranche when I imagine most votes were already in, imo.
