That's pretty easy to understand! They needed the funding. To acquire $10M in non-diluting finance, when the share price was only 7c, was a coup for shareholders.
Now that they are fully funded they can bide their time and be as 'cautious' as they want. For a micro cap start up, they are now in an enviable bargaining position.
Nina mentioned 1-2 years for further deals so you can take that as a guide that they are not going to rush things. However, if one or more of those potential deal partners pays up it could happen any time.
