As you say, most important step would be to drill out an initial mining area to enable a 3 year mine plan (perhaps still only 60-80k for around 25k p.a, with a clear focus on then doing a lot more infill drilling on the already developed area's and simply.... roll that process out as they either ramp up, or just achieve a comfortable steady state.

The amount of sunken capital is incredible... I mean SPR is going to spend $38m in the near term on creating 2 portals to enable a much larger U/G drill program.... yet here sits PNR with 3 portals already developed, plus.... who knows how many kilometres of already developed stopes there exactly are.

For context.... just Mainfield is truly impressive gold camp. PNR actually did undertake some drilling back in late 2022 (before they had to stop and focus 100% on the commissioning/ramp up). Southern Mainfield drilling highlights potential UG mining






In summary, just need a few drill rigs there for a year or two and who knows... might be able to add 500-1m ounces into the mine plans....
Sure, that is speculation, but.... there is already proven gold all along the reef.
