That's a shame that you think that pledge.
I believe it may be how you are asking the questions (on your own (making you - anyone alone really that doesn't have a lot of power already compared to who you'd want accountability from - easier to dismiss as a sort of lone odd-ball) and often abrasively (increasing the chances that people (specifically directors that owe you a duty of care just as they owe many others like you the same duty) would want to dismiss you) that is shaping your experience.
