I can't help wondering if someone is finally recognising the ridiculous value of its IP and existing funded trials and finally stepping in with a big stake ahead of partnership (big Pharma have learnt to take an equity take before announcing partnerships knowing the price reaction partnerships provide) or even a full takeover at these silly levels - Sumitomo back at a small fraction of what they offered before? The price is creeping up steadily on decent volumes. Someone calmly taking what volume they can get in the market and not afraid to go a few price steps on the fill.
