It closes the wound faster allowing less chance of an opportunistic infection to take hold and lead to amputation .
Medicine is full of treatments which do nothing to treat the underlying cause but are still medically useful and extremely profitable.
Take chrohns and ulcerative colitis for example; JAK inhibitors do nothing to treat tha underlying genetic predisposition for immune system overreaction but still do a good job of treating the symptoms and letting people get on with their lives.
CYP's cells in DFUwill likely have repeat customers as their diabetes is not adequately controlled.
Its a huge market and one which MSB will be unable to compete in due to much higher cost.
Similarly with aGVHD and any otherindications; CYP will eat their lunch. Just a matter of time.
