Recall that these lasers have already been tested over a rigorous 8 month period at Lucas Heights to prove they could "operate reliably at commercial-scale for extended periods" and the process independently verified by a party contracted by Cameco back in 2022 (see SLX announcement 31st August 2022), so a large piece of the risk to success has been mitigated.
