Well my theory has always been, if you’re not going to place a (mental) stop loss as part of a strict trading plan that only risks 1-2% of your entire portfolio on any given stock, and you’ve ridden it down over 50%, why on earth would you sell out at a 90% loss? Most of the biggest gainers over the years have lost 50-90% before their big run, so why not stay the course if you’re already that far down. I’m sure you’re looking at it that way, I’m just surprised that anyone would be willing to lock in such a large loss given the current EV of the company and potential for a swift rebound on NS.
