Canadians are closer to Ecuador and don't have that fear of South America as most Aussies do.
If you look at the presentation most explorers in Ecuador are based in Canada.
Lumina, SolGold, Equinox, Salazar, Adventus (SVM), Lundi, etc
Thus, it make it also easier to strike a deal and spin off the deposits from Ecuador... I think that may be the rationale?
