Pretty worrying this got so many likes when it's clearly incorrect.
The figures they're showing on slide 7 (sales price of $1,354/dmt versus cost of $1,398/dmt) is YTD... i.e. including back when they were getting much higher prices (in their Sept 2023 quarterly they got an average sales price of A$1,985/dmt with costs of A$1,231/dmt).
As of the most recent quarterly from March, they are nowhere near breakeven - they were effectively losing A$537 on every dmt sold. They might have improved the costs a bit since then, but the price hasn't moved.
Do people actually understand the quarterlies, or do they just 'like' posts that make them feel good?
