I feel that a merger with another local ~1Moz player is the only way to unlock some value here. Otherwise AUN are just gonna have to keep scraping by on fumes.

I like that Brad is trying to drill out and expand our own resource. But the quickest, easiest way IMO is to just merge with/aquire someone elses resource to supplement our own. With a high gold price, the value should increase substantially and enable AAU to raise capital easier. We probably would have to issue scrip in a merger but we are issuing scrip with constant CRs anway.
