The A1 Gold Mine has great potential now that they are within 25 metres vertical (175 metres of lateral decline development) of the base of old workings AND the top of virgin ground. It's so much easier to mine virgin ground compared to robbing pillars. Terrific that the ventilation and power have been upgraded BUT the Maldon processing facility is an 8 hr round trip AND they are running out of room to dump development waste both in underground voids or on the mountainous surface topography.
