Well, rodents DO like cheese, which has plenty of calcium in it. That could explain why NYR-BIO3 is progressing so well through these mice and rat studies. Hopefully they can recruit some humans for the phase 1 that are partial to a bit of camembert. Even a Laughing Cow or the odd Kraft Single might help.
That MAY not help them with the patents however.
