It does not matter to some extent what basis you use for the Copper Price as there is some correlation between them and it seems to be the direction of movement that has the affect on the SP of Copper Miners . I look at Trading Economics each morning as it covers a large range of different commodities i am interested in as well as world Stock Markets and Currency Markets all in one place . They have good graphs that show trends too . I know the Copper Price quoted is not what we get but big movements and especially a movement trend for a few days or weeks is reflected in the SP of Copper Miners either up or down . All would be good with HGO if the Copper Price quoted on Trading Economics reached US $5 after a sustained move for instance .
But thankyou to posters here that drill down more deeply to get closer to the price index that the HGO copper price is actually related too .
