**promotion blocked**.com has what seems to be the live LME prices (but I am not certain), and I am sure that it is available elsewhere.
Regardless I’d much rather use a day old price, generally out by a fractional percentage, than a live one out by 10%. As for the moves in the price, well the comex price and the LME price are NOT moving in tandem, the comex price is being driven by extra factors.
We don’t sell to the US, our contract with our offtake partner is not based on comex pricing, it is based on LME prices. As simple as that.
Do you track your local gas prices by using fancy, live graphical USA nymex or henry hub prices or whatever?
