The panic from the usual suspects to deflect is obvious. Of course there will be more than one project benefiting from this significant infrastructure build! The project named in those posts by duggie is no doubt a high profile job…..and, as such, it takes the headline. I personally don’t care too much for that project…..what I care most for is the fact that Kachi will have it’s power supply locked in as a result of this project.
I can’t believe that the question of where the CAPEX to build this project is going to come from yet again! Particularly when it has been clearly answered so many times already - the independent power producer (YPF Luz) will be taking on the design, construction and commissioning of the transmission line….as stated so many times in the past. Lake will not need to allocate any CAPEX to the construction of the transmission line (as others would have us believe) and the three major provinces along the route have just signed up an agreement to contribute an initial $400M. It literally couldn’t be made any clearer…..yet the baiting and attempted misleading continues. I think the majority of the readers here understand the reality of how the power supply is going to be built and that it is going to be funded outside of Lake’s coffers….so I don’t think it is worth responding to this constant baiting based on mis truth any longer. The relevant announcements will be released in due course to blow that (and other) mis truths out of the water!
