I have never seen a rig that could do both aircore and RC. Much higher specs required for RC, to handle the very much heavier RC rods: more powerful top drive, push-pull rams etc. (Amusingly, I once had a situation where a driller added one too many RC rods to a deep vertical hole and then could not pull the drill string back out the hole. Had to back the rig off and lift the drill string with two large hydraulic jacks).
I am sure they have a separate aircore rig mobilised site anyway for all the scheduled infill aircore work at Parklands, etc.
Talking of Parklands, can you see signs of any drilling yet at Jezabeel?
And at Minyari, one diamond I am particularly keen to see drilled and know the result of is the deep DDH at Minyari North. This was to be testing the previously described 'Minyari Deeps' target - an interpreted fault-offset, blind depth continuation of the main Minyari resource.
An attempt was made to test this with a deep hole a year or so ago, but that hole drooped and never actually made it into the target zone. Now they have funds to repeat it and have been planning to do so.
It may of course be the DDH that the presentation shows in the middle of the proposed Minyari Pit Outline (see below).
