The US government/trump/the fed have no choice but to print money. I agree the AUD against the US will appreciate substantially but so will the US$ gold price. The days of AUD currency assisted Gold price appreciation are gone. As a ball park I reckon we will lose at least 50% of the $US gold price gain in AUD$ gold price terms.
