I bought early and got out at around $1.00 with ZIP, then did plenty of testing the app after I sold when considering re-buying, so pretty happy with my gains there. I think the comparison is apt - WGL is another app with an alleged technical advantage, which is currently competing in an absolutely crowded, saturated market app market.

Seems like you are an expert at timing your investment strategy - any cockups along the way that you have experienced and why your judgement was askew? May I suggest that some of your assessments are laughable, however each to their own.
