Yep - VR headsets are virtual reality but/and they are used for 3D adventures/tours around real places. Doctors etc have 'virtual' consultations with real people, virtual meeting with real people are common place so I take that as a virtual tour i.e. via the internet & your monitor of a real CDP.
He said the CDP is not big enough to be worrying about capturing the CO2 streams so they are 'flared'. Flaring of CO2 is common as CO2 is part of the gas stream from natural gas & other methane sources (they are extracting the CO2 from this waste water methane source pre reactor) - see below.
Personally I though the video's are great. They finally have started to fill in some of the missing pieces e.g. the fact that the graphite/hydrogen stream is 'continuously' being flowed from the top of the reactor to a secondary processing area. My take after watching the videos, is that the process is indeed 'continuous' i.e. feed gas in, catalyst injected in, products out. This would mean that a short run is actually a short continuous run rather than a batch run in a closed reactor.
