All I know is the market started to fret before the last result, only for WEB to announce a stellar result. After the result JG said in a Your Money interview that they’d only gone to the market a couple of times in the half with news, and there was nothing announced that would have led to such a sell off (I’ve looked for this interview on YouTube, but unfortunately, to no avail).
The same thing seems to be happening again. Market gets in a funk and sends the share price down close to $14. Company comes out and reaffirms guidance and the share price goes up a buck.
I’m working on the assumption that if there is a change to guidance, they will let us know.
