green bags are 1m or 2m bulk samples Most likely 1m i.e. for every m drilled 1 bag. The bulk sample is split either at the cyclone (collection point) via a cone or rotary cone splitter or manually in a riffle splitter to gain a smaller sample for the lab that is assayed. The bulks can be resampled at any time (until they are disposed of) and the pulps from the lab are also stored. Each 1m bulk sample would weigh somewhere between 25-40kg for 5.5 inch hole depending on factors such as SG of rock, overbreak and sample recovery. Sorry I can't tell you how much gold is in them we just have to wait!
