Lithium is a way of talking about the valuable bit of lithium hydroxide or or other lithium compounds.
Lithium occurs in the natural world in different forms, e.g. hard rock or alluvial salts.
Lithium is the metal, the concrete, real world, stuff you can touch. Actually, don't do that, it's explosive. But in theory you could. And you can see highly refined Lithium metal experiments on YouTube. Fun.
Lithia is an additional name that kind of raises lithium to an abstract level...the 'ia' ending is a plural suffix, when you use the term Lithia you're not committed to defining either the source, or the downstream processing.
