NETs won't be communicating much to their merchants. They're an acquirer and heir job is to get as much volume through their system as possible. They want Mint to process volume through them.

The eco-system is:

Merchants -> Payment Gateway -> Acquirer -> Scheme -> Issuer

Mint are a Payment Gateway - their sales pitch is to merchants and distributors (essentially sales agents who have relationships with merchants). There is a tiny element of distributor about NETs (and First Data) for Mint - the mPOS solution. This is the nature of the relationship with BNZA but we haven't seen any strength in a NETs announcement like that deal.
