Goedy – I have reposted a segment from my March 21 post
.I was fortunate enough to attend a presentation by Kevin in Sydney on Wed March 20 which was organised and hosted by PeterTaylor from NWR Communications, their IR company.
.These were Kevin’s exact words
.“ Goedy - to your question " Seriously, how hard is itto project when they hit profitability? " Why is this such a hangup for so many ? Kevin statedyesterday " ..we want to get Saloro on the path, we want to get Mt Carbineon the path, but we want to show investors we are on a bigger pathhere..." "...we should be fairly flat at Mt Carbine at about 200tonnes per month.....and then ramping up to about 350 per month and that willbe mostly profit."
.So the breakeven level at Mt Carbine seems to be around 200 tonnes per month and beyond that they are profitable
My understanding is that current production levels at Mt Carbine are very close to this 200 and in fact they have already reached 180 a few months back so they must be due to break it very soon.
Additionally, they have new equipment being installed.
Lets see what the production is for March - only a few days to go - then we will have a quarterly total
