@flamingI have not been analyzing gold in that much detail these days. I've also been busy and would continue to be busy for the rest of this month - so not much time to analyse.
My primary expectation is that there would be another buying opportunity in gold at some point in coming months. I nevertheless have some exposure to gold right now and am keeping my options open.
I have not analysed the SLR-DRM merger and have been more or else indifferent to individual stocks.
It just seems like the smartest idea in the gold sector since long has simply been to hang on to the bigger goldies – NST, EVN, SAR, RRL, SBM, etc....maybe even AQG, OGC?
When / if the next fall comes, I wonder if it just makes sense to buy these at the lows and forget about it, for a while. This would have been a pretty safe and lucrative strategy if followed last year. Unfortunately, most of the smaller ones have lagged a lot over the years.
