There is a large pipeline of WTE projects. Cleanaway and Macqaurie for example going hare in NSW.
But these projects are incineration projects and less favoured by governments generally. For example in VIC they have capped these type of incineration projects at 500ktpa. So first mover will capture the opportunity in VIC for example (on the basis of a 200-500ktpa plant), no one else. Unless someone lobby's for tonnage expansion.
I don't think these projects are a threat to DEL
