8Common has had an excellent run lately. Now that it is cashflow positive and seems to have a growing and stable revenue it has transformed from being a stock that was not delivering to one that is being valued for what it is - a potentially scalable disruptive technology.
So how do we value a stock such as this? I believe an accurate way is a peer comparison as reported in page 15 of this investor update. It suggests that peers were acquired at 8-14 x revenue. Given the revenue for 8co is likely to be $4million for FY19 this would value 8CO at 8- 14 x $ 4 million = $32-56 million. I'm not an expert but calculate that to be 24- 40 cents per share. Given that the current share price seems justified and could go higher.
