I have no medical background or oncology knowledge so I’m not in a position to judge the science or challenge much of what DK put forward. However, his presentation style didn’t impress me either. Came across as a tad too slick for my liking. And yes, I also noticed him pat himself on the back 2 or 3 times during the presentation. Of course that can be subjective I guess. I’m also aware of the companies history of disappointing shareholders so perhaps I was a little biased from the outset.

What really stuck out was that DK all but guaranteed revenues in the next 3 months and intimated revenues from multiple jurisdictions. Not just once but several time’s through the presentation/Q&A. There can be no walking back from those ‘assurances’.

First revenues (especially from 2 or 3 jurisdictions) should allow the market to forgive the past and see a significant re-rating. If they don’t occur I can’t see how his position is sustainable.
