It's currently an insane situation on the investment front; I think even the crypto crazy is partly contributing. The total amount in the crypto bubble, and the rate at which it has inflated, is completely absurd. Some of my younger friends in their 20s and early 30s who are interested in investing have become bored recently with stocks, telling me that they've made multiples on their money on crytpo within weeks or in some cases days, and the idea of stocks which move only a few per cent per week seems completely dull and pointless.
Of course, when they get burned in the inevitable pop, stocks in actual companies which actually do actual things and make actual revenue will seem more appealing again. Millennials really a ridiculous generation.
