Known as the US Innovation and Competition Act
The bill allocates $US50 billion ($65 billion) over five years to spur the domestic manufacturing of semiconductors in the US. The move is aimed at reducing America’s reliance on Chinese manufacturing and combating a global chip shortage that has disrupted supply chains for cars, smartphones and other electronic appliance
eg. Sensera
Another $US80 billion ($103 billion) will be spent on research into artificial intelligence, robotics and biotechnology .
eg NanoDX, AbioMed & LifeScan/Sanvita
Bullseye.
Seriously, IMO will will need to try extremely hard NOT to get some of this funding either directly / or in-directly.
We know NanoDX are lobbying Washington. I can only assume companies the size of Abiomed and Sanvita/Lifescan have a sizeable representation ( it's how you do business in the USA ).
