    My Impressions from the webinar.

Hosted by Rosheen Garnon (BOD chair), Jason Lewis CFO and Billy Blackburn CEO

    1. The presentation which has been available since the 24th of Feb is similar in form and content to those we have all seen before. Same diagrams, same graphics, same old same old. Except
    2. A new diagram showing market development priorities. This diagram and the time spent reviewing it suggests a new commitment to business building and all the hard work that that entails. As you all will know, building a business requires more than a fantastic product and an eager customer.
    3. It requires a business model and a business process. The business model defines how you make money (out of hundreds of options) and the business process puts that model into practice in down and dirty nitty gritty hard work. The model and the process are generated and refined together over a long period.
    4. It appears to me that these folks are finally starting to display that they have that shit in hand. I'm not saying that its all done and dusted; far from it. But it did give me confidence that things are improving.
    5. As an example of this, Billy spoke about the lack of customer agreements. No biggy. But enduring customer relationships with large customers are solidified around customer agreements which endure beyond the tenure of the people at both ends. Billy is creating and implementing these agreements. Its these things that provide market tenure and are the artifacts that support customer relationships. Process and model intertwined.
    6. Rosheen spoke of Bob, Jason and Billy working well together as a team. It shows.
    7. Cash is scarce but not limiting. The finance facility they have available provides the necessary flexibility and the SOPs they have will ensure it does not get out of hand.

    My opinions.

    1. It will take another year of focus before the business projects the appearance of stability. What does that mean. Well, as an example; Revenue predictability i.e., the ability to forecast customer requirements, provision for their delivery and then meet those forecasts. No surprises
They have'nt been able to do that in the past, and need to be able to do that in future. Model and process.

    2. Cash. Can be managed within existing. It is not a constraint.

    3. Good news will consist of
    the lack of bad news
    customers, not products
    revenues, not market opportunities
    progress in building the business

    4. share price appreciation will follow after (3) good news (a long time after - )

As stated above, these are my personal impressions and opinions and should not be construed as advice. They could be wrong. I often am.
