This might be cynical, but if it were transitioning to a company marketing its news more broadly, then this would have arrived in its own separate Announcement.
Perhaps they don't see the 500 cycle thing as much of a breakthrough as we do, or quite simply David hasn't been in the job long enough. I would expect the latter.
