Just to go extremely off topic....!
I am currently doing my tax on the AGC spin-out, just wondering what ratio was used by MAG to calculate the reduced cost basis of the pre CGT in MAG and AGC, in order to rollover. Is it 36-5 (distribution of 5 shares for every 36 held) hence a relative market value of 13.88% (AGC) and 86.11% (MAG)? I couldn't find any other specific information..
Any insight as to how others treated would be helpful
